Grade 3

In Grade 3, Strathmore Primary is committed to providing students with a safe, welcoming and happy learning environment in which students are challenged and supported to achieve their full potential. Literacy, Numeracy and Inquiry are the key learning areas which are fundamental to students developing as confident learners.

The Grade 3 is when children develop greater independence, time management skills and take more responsibility for their learning and work habits. Students continue to develop the skills they have mastered in the Early Years.

Grade 3 is an exciting year, where students transition from junior primary school into the middle years. Students participate in a range of whole school programmed activities; Cross Country, Italian Day, Harmony Day, Swimming Carnival, Athletics Carnival, Anglesea Camp, Incursions and Excursions.
